Ride to the Texas Wall
From all over the state, riders will gather at the Wall in Kaufman to remember the lives of the 3,416 Texans who are among the more than 58,000 heroes named on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. The Ride to the Texas Wall is not a fleeting, one-time event, but rather a commitment of support to the Education Center at The Wall in D.C. in an effort to forever pay homage to those who paid the ultimate price.
This annual ride will continue to support and fund the Education Center with the help of Peter Holt, owner of the San Antonio Spurs, who has generously offered to match $1 million of his own money for every Texas contribution.
But that’s not all the Ride to the Texas Wall will accomplish. We need to spread the word about the Center with thunderous passion. Who better than every Texas biker? Tell your fellow riders, and join us on May 28, 2012 in Kaufman to make and preserve history.
